One of life’s great accomplishments may be finding employment that is fun, exciting and fulfilling. TGA Works provides high school-aged students an introduction to job opportunities in the Texas golf industry. A TGA Works intern will gain an introduction to the broad spectrum of career opportunities in the golf industry. Interns will gain exposure to not only jobs in golf instruction and operations, but also in agronomy, food and beverage, business management, retail sales and hospitality. TGA Works hopes to have a measurable and long-lasting impact on the lives of young men and women in Texas by providing meaningful employment, the chance to work closely with positive role models, creating a nurturing environment in which to learn how to play the game, and about golf-related career possibilities.
