Entries Open:  August 8, 20178 at 9:00 AM

Entry Fee: $225 per player

Eligibility:   Entries are open to female amateur golfers with a certified GHIN Handicap Index, and who are 50 years of age or older by the first round of the Championship. Please reference Policies and Procedures for further details.
 
Championship Information

Player Field: The starting field will consist of 96 players. In the event the championship becomes over-subscribed, entries will be accepted in order of handicap index based upon the September 1, 2018 USGA Handicap Revision.

Format: The championship will be a 54 hole stroke play championship. Upon completion of Round 2, the field will be broken into flights based on 36-hole scores.
 
What's Included: The entry fee includes greens, cart, and range fees for the practice round and all championship round. The entry fee will also include lunch after round 1 and awards lunch.
 
Registration Information:  Player registration will be held from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm on the day of the practice round on October 1st. If a player cannot make registration, she must notify a TGA staff that she is unable to make the registration deadline but will be participating in the Championship. Those not contacting a TGA staff by 3:00 pm are subject to forfeiting their playing position.
 
Practice Round Information:  Each player is allowed one practice round at Northgate Country Club. Players must contact the host club golf shop at 281-444-5302 two weeks prior and identify themselves as 2018 Women's Senior Stroke Play Championship Players. Tee times have been set aside on October 14 for championship players.
 
Prizes/Awards:  Merchandise gift certificates redeemable at the host club golf shop will be awarded within each flight. Overall champion, Super Senior (65-70) and Super Super Senior (71+) will be awarded.

Post Scores to GHIN: All three rounds of the tournament will automatically be posted to GHIN as a "T-score". Therefore, players DO NOT need to post their tournament scores for this event to avoid duplication.

Pairings Information:  Round 1 pairings will be available following registration online (www.txga.org). Round 2 pairings will be available online at the conclusion of Round 1. Pairings and flights for Round 3 will be available online after Round 2.
 
Transportation:  Players must ride. Carts are limited to two (2) riders at a time and two (2) carts per group.  
 
Electronic Measuring Devices:  Electronic devices that measure distance only are allowed for this championship.

USGA Groove Condition of Competition (Not in Effect): The USGA groove rules effective January 1, 2010 are NOT in effect for this competition.
