History 1916 - 1923

Records of the early years are incomplete, but from 1916 through 1923, the Executive Committee, as it was referred to, was comprised of host clubs only. There was no record of Annual Dues and the entry fee was $2 for the tournament. The tournament referred to is now called the State Amateur Championship. The qualifying scores ranged from 87-120.
