Ted Waldrip wins North Medalist at Buffalo Creek

The 2013 North Medalist #3 was held at Buffalo Creek Golf Golf Club in Rockwall. Round one got underway with warm weather and strong winds that tested the field of 24. As the day ended Clarke Kincaid was the leader in the clubhouse with a 73 and a one shot lead over Danny Lovell. Ted Waldrip and Kiley Hardy were close behind posting 76 in a tie for third. The second round brought calmer wind and the field looked to take advantage of the conditions. Ted Waldrip climbed up the board shooting the only under par round of the tournament with a (-2) 69 to claim victory. Waldrip won by one stroke over Clarke Kincaid who matched his output from round one with another 73 and a second place finish. Danny Lovell finished three strokes back with 74 in the final round to finish third.
