Brook Hollow and UT Golf Club Advance in Round 1

Brook Hollow Golf Club pulled off a dramatic win against Mira Vista CC today in the first round of the 2013 League Play Championships at Horseshoe Bay Resort. In spit of having only 7 players, the Brook Hollow team rallied after losing all three points in the first match to win 7.5 out of the next 9 for a 7.5 to 4.5 victory.

Brook Hollow will face Tierra Verde in the the Quarterfinal match on Friday.

Congratulations to Mira Vista for a great season this year.

UT Golf Club had similar but more convincing road to victory over San Angelo Country Club. After losing all three of the opening points UT went on a tear and won 8 out of the next 9 points for an 8 to 4 win.

UT Golf Club will move onto the next round and will play Dallas Athletic Club in a quarterfinal match.
