Arlington – Two teams shot 8-under par 64 to share the lead after one round at the North Regional Four Ball Championship presented by UST Mamiya.
Michael Ray and Joshua Irving as well as Colby Harwell and Beau Davis fired an eight under par, 64, to share the 18-hole clubhouse lead.
 
Round one of the 2015 North Regional Four Ball presented by UST Mamiya was hosted by Tierra Verde Golf Club in Arlington, TX.  44 teams battled the cold and windy weather for the Texas Golf Association’s first North Regional Championship event of the 2015 season. It was partner’s Michael Ray and Joshua Irving as well as Colby Harwell and Beau Davis fired an eight under par, 64, to share the 18-hole clubhouse lead.
 
Ray and Irving carded nine birdies in total that included six on the back, their front nine. Harwell and Davis posted a bogey free round of 64 including an eagle on the Par Five 13^th. 16 teams in total are three under par or better for the championship and within striking distance of the leaders.            
Tee times will begin at 8:00 AM off  1 & 10 Tees.  With two teams tied at the top of the leaderboard and 14 other teams within five shots, it is sure to make for an exciting finish.
