106th Texas Amateur Rounds Postponed

DALLAS — Due to the sustained rainfall on Wednesday, Bent Tree CC will remain closed remain closed for the day. Player registration and the Players’ Banquet will proceed as scheduled. Players will have the opportunity to register tomorrow between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Players who had a scheduled Wednesday practice round will keep their starting time for Thursday’s rescheduled practice round. Players who did not schedule a practice round, or those who wish to try and reschedule, will have the opportunity to schedule a practice round by calling the Bent Tree Golf Shop until 4 p.m. today at 972-931-4940. 

The championship will be played under the best circumstances possible, with the intent to begin Round One on Friday, June 19.  First and second round starting times and pairings will remain intact, adjusted to Friday, June 19, and Saturday, June 20, respectively. The field will still be reduced to the low 54 competitors and ties at the conclusion of 36 holes of play.
