Hannah Arnold qualifies for LPGA Founder's Cup Event

WTGA State Amateur veteran Hannah Arnold was one of two professionals to qualify for a place in the field this week at the LPGA Tour's JTBC Founder's Cup in Phoenix, AZ.  Lufkin's Arnold first appeared on the Texas amateur golf scene by earning junior medalist honors at the 2007 WTGA State Amateur Championship at Crown Colony Country Club.  She again earned the junior medalist honors in 2009 at Ridgewood Country Club in Waco.  Arnold went on to star at Texas Tech University and turned pro after college.  Almost exactly one year ago, she won the first professional event she entered on The Cactus Tour.  This week she earned a place on Women's Golf's greatest stage with the best players in the world.  Despite her growing success and an opportunity to live her lifelong dream, Hannah still has fond memories of her amateur days in Texas.  "I miss my WTGA family!  I wish I could play in that event every year."

Hannah will always be one of "our girls" and the Texas Golf Association and WTGA Committee could not be more proud of her.  Join us in celebrating her and follow her online.
