Tournament Fee: $325 (Boys & Girls) | $310 (Boys and Girls 14 & Under)
Boys Division Qualifier Fee: $60
Divisions: Boys | Girls | Boys 14 & Under | Girls 14 & Under
Field Limit: 120 contestants | 60 contestants | 45 contestants | 15 contestants

Boys Tournament Eligibility: All players must be a resident of Texas and have not yet enrolled in college. All players will need to qualify through one of 12 qualifying sites across Texas, unless otherwise exempt.

Girls and 14 & Under Tournament Eligibility: All players will be added to the field based off the Priority Entry System for the Texas Junior Amateur. Guidelines for Priority Entry can be found by clicking here

Entry Procedure: Players in the Boys Division will exemptions will be added to the field while players without an exemption must qualify through one of the Texas Junior Amateur qualifiers. Players in the Girls Division as well as the Boys and Girls 14 & Under Division will be added based off the LJT Priority Entry System once registration closes. 

Championship Information

Cancellation/Withdrawal Policy: The cancellation deadline is 10 days prior to the tournament start date. For refund details please check the LJT Championship Policies.

Caddies: Caddies will NOT be permitted for the Texas Junior Amateur.

Spectator Carts: Spectator carts are allowed and can be rented from the club for $30 per person. Spectator carts will not be allowed during the practice rounds. Carts will be limited to one cart per player each day. Spectators that rent carts must follow all LJT Spectator Policy when operating the cart. All carts must remain on the path at all times.

The LJT reserves the right to select players to be in the field. Exempt players must complete registration for the event by the published deadline or they will lose their spot in the field. 

Texas Junior AmateuBoys Division Qualifying

Players wishing to compete in the Boys Division of the Texas Junior Amateur must compete in a qualifier unless they are previously exempt for the event.

All qualifiers are 18 holes of stroke play competition. Once Pairings are available, they will be emailed out to each player along with how many players are competing and how many spots are being taken for the Texas Junior Amateur. Qualifiers are $60 and players can only sign up for one LJT qualifier. Players that earn spots into the tournament will be charged the remaining $265 fee once they are added to the field.

Any player that fails to qualify for the Texas Junior Amateur in the events above may choose to play in a Last Chance Qualifying Event listed below. The fee is $60 and the first round score will be used for the qualifier.
