**Should a winner of an NTPGA qualifying event be exempt or not eligible, below is a breakdown of how that exemption will be decided.

  1. All ties for a spot into the Volunteers of America Classic Girls’ Match Play Championship will be determined by a hole-by-hole sudden-death playoff immediately following play.
  2. In addition to the exemption earner, three alternates will be selected at each qualifying event. The 2nd place finisher at each event will be the 1st alternate, the 3rd place finisher will be the 2nd alternate and the 4th place finisher will be the 3rd alternate. All ties for alternate spots will be determined by a scorecard playoff immediately following play. Exception: If a sudden-death playoff is being conducted for the qualifying spot with three players, the playoff will continue to identify the 1st and 2nd alternate positions.
  3. Following a tournament in which a qualifying spot has been determined, should that qualified player be unable to compete in the Volunteers of America Classic Girls’ Match Play Championship due to injury, illness or scheduling conflict, the 1st alternate at that qualifying site will be selected as a replacement. Should the 1st alternate not be able to compete, then the 2nd alternate will be selected as a replacement, etc. Should none of the 3 alternates be able to compete in the Volunteers of America Classic Girls’ Match Play Championship, the Girls 13-18 All American Tour Points Challenge list will be used to select a replacement – highest ranked eligible player.
