Entry & Eligibility Information

Entries Open: July 8, 2020 at 9:00 AM
Entries Close: September 30, 2020 at 5:00 PM
Priority Entry Deadline: September 16, 2020 at 5:00 PM
Tournament Eligibility: Players must have a membership within the Texas Junior Golf Alliance.
Entry Procedure: Players with Priority Entry Status will be added to the field first after the Priority Entry Deadline. Once all players with status are added, the remaining spots in the field will be filled in order of players signups.

Championship Information

Field Size: 84 Players
Tournament Fee: $285
Format: The championship is scheduled for 36 holes of stroke play competition.

Divisions: Boys 15-18, Boys 14 & Under, Girls 12-18

Practice Round Information: Players will be responsible for making their own tee times with the club no earlier than seven days prior to the practice round sate. The official practice round date is Saturday, October 10. The fee is $30 and does not include a cart. Please call the golf shop at (361) 991-2811.

Registration Information:

Starting Times: Pairings for Sunday’s First Round will be sent out on Thursday, October 8, 2020. Pairings for Monday’s Final Round will be made according to scores from the previous round.

Policies & Procedures

Cancellation / Withdrawal Policy: The cancellation deadline is 10 days prior to the tournament start date. For refund details please check the LJT Competition Policies.

Caddies: Players will NOT be permitted a caddie for the championship.

Transportation: Players will be required to walk during the competition, unless acting under the direction of an LJT Rules Official. Non-motorized push/pull carts will be permitted during the championship. Spectator carts will be permitted for the championship and will be rented from the club each day.


Rules of Golf

The championship will be contested under the 2019 Rules of Golf as approved by the United States Golf Association and R&A, its interpretations and clarifications, 2020 Legends Junior Tour Local Rules and Terms of Competition and any local rules given tot he player on their first tee.
