Entry & Eligibility Information

Entries Open: Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at 9:00 AM
Entries Close: Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at 5:00 PM

Entry Fee: $310

Eligibility: Entries are open to all golfers with an active membership with the Texas Junior Golf Alliance. Players with exemptions will be added first with the remaining spots being filled based on player rankings. Please reference LJT Policies and Procedures for further details.

Exemptions: Players can earn exemptions into the field through a variety of categories that are outlined on the Tournament Exemptions Page. The LJT reserves the right to select players to be in the field. For exemption request details, please view LJT Policies and Procedures. Exempt players must enter by the published deadline or they will lose their exempt status and spot in the final field.

Championship Information

Format/Field Size: Play will be contested over 36 holes of stroke play. The field is limited to 96 players.

Divisions: Boys 15-18, Girls 12-18, Boys 14 & Under

Practice Round Information: Players will be responsible for making their own tee times with the club no earlier than August 1st. The official practice round date is Sunday, August 8. Players may arrive no earlier than one hour before their practice round tee time. The fee is $25 and does not include a cart. Carts will be available to players only for Sunday’s practice rounds. Players must meet club requirements to operate a cart, which are 16 years of age and a valid driver’s license. Please call the golf shop at (512) 266-6464 to schedule your practice round time.

Registration Information: There will be no official tournament registration before the event. Players will pick up tee gifts in the scoring area following their first round.

Starting Times/Pairings Information: Starting times/pairings for the first round will be available Friday, August 6 online at Final round starting times/pairings will be available in the evening preceding play (approximately one hour after the completion of play) online at Final round starting times/pairings will be re-drawn based on total score following the previous rounds of play.

Caddies: Players will be permitted a caddie for the George Hannon Junior Invitational. The caddie must not be the parent or legal guardian of the player and the players is responsible for providing the caddie for the event.

Cancellation/Withdrawal Procedure: Players may withdraw themselves from the field and receive a refund up until 10 days before the first round. If you need to withdraw, please contact the Tournament Director and they will instruct you on how to complete the WD. For full refund details, please reference the LJT Competition Policies.

Transportation: Players will be required to walk during the competition, unless acting under the direction of an LJT Rules Official. Non-motorized push/pull carts will be permitted during the championship. Spectator carts will be permitted for the championship and must be rented from the club.

Rules of Golf

The Championship will be contested under the 2019 Rules of Golf as approved by the United States Golf Association and R&A, its interpretations and clarifications, 2021 Legends Junior Tour Local Rules and Terms of Competition and any local rules give to the player on their first tee.
