Entry & Eligibility Information
Entries Open: July 6, 2022 at 9:00am
Entries Close: August 10, 2022 at 5:00pm
Withdraw Date: August 10, 2022 at 5:00pm
Entry Fee: $160 per team
Eligibility: Entries are open to female amateur golfers with a certified WHS Handicap Index. Please reference TGA Women’s Competition Policies for further details, including Policies and Procedures, and Terms of Competition.
Entry Procedure: Entries are accepted in order of entry.
Field Size: The field is limited to 24 teams (48 players).
Format: Two-Person Scramble. Both players tee off on every hole and select a tee shot from which the team wishes to play. The team continues to select and play from their “best” shot until the ball has been holed. Each team member must use a minimum of two (2) of their tee shots on the front nine and two (2) of their tee shots on the back nine. To calculate the net scores, we will take 35% of the low handicap plus 15% of the high handicap.
What’s Included: The entry fee includes greens, cart, and range fees for the round. The entry fee will also include a tee gift, and appetizers and two (2) drink tickets.
Registration Information: There will be no player registration for the Women’s Saturday Series. Players will receive their tee gift in scoring.
Practice Round Information: Each player may schedule one (1) practice round at Nutcracker Golf Club at the discounted of price of $45 + tax (includes carts) anytime on Sunday and Saturday or anytime after 1:00 PM on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or Friday. The club is closed on Wednesdays. Players should contact the host club golf shop at (817) 579-1811 and identify themselves as Women’s Saturday Series players to schedule a practice round.
Starting Times/Pairings: Pairings and tee times for the tournament will be made available online at txga.org no later than Friday, August 12 by 5:00 PM.
Prizes/Awards: Gift certificates to the host club golf shop will be awarded to the net and gross team champions.
Policies & Procedures
To ensure that competitors have the best possible experience when competing in the championship, it is helpful to be knowledgeable of Texas Golf Association (TGA) Policies and Procedures, Terms of Competition and Local Rules (Hard Card), as established by the association. Caddies: Caddies are not permitted during the championship.
Transportation: Players are encouraged to ride carts during all championship rounds. Cart fees for all championship rounds are included in the entry fee. Carts are limited to two (2) riders at one time and two (2) carts per group. Players must share. Riding on the back of golf carts is prohibited.
Electronic Measuring Devices: Electronic devices that measure distance only are allowed for this championship.
TGA Medical Cart Request Policy
Spectators carts are prohibited. However, spectators in accordance of ADA compliance may request golf carts. Requests for golf carts must be supported by complete documentation, including the fully-completed Cart Request Form and the required accompanying medical documentation specified in that form for all first-time requests. Any medical cart request that is granted by the TGA will be good for that individual for the remainder of that calendar season.
