Entry & Eligibility Information
Entries Open: September 19, 2022 at 9:00 AM
Entries Close: October 26, 2022 at 5:00 PM
Withdraw Date: October 26, 2022 at 5:00 PM
Entry Fee: $480 per team

Eligibility: Entries are open to female amateur golfers with a certified WHS Handicap Index. Please reference TGA Women’s Policies and Procedures for further details.

Entry Procedure: Entries accepted in order of entry except if the event is oversubscribed in the first 24 hours. In this case, the field will be filled by blind draw from the entries returned during the first 24 hours. Any player not drawn will be placed on the waiting list in blind draw order. All subsequent entries will be placed on the waiting list in order of entry.

Championship Information
Field Size: The field is limited to 50 teams.

Format: The championship will be 36-holes of Chapman Stroke Play (also known as Pinehurst format). Two players play as partners, each playing from the teeing ground and each playing her partner’s ball for the second shot. After the second shot, partners select the ball with which they wish to score and play the ball alternately to complete the hole. The field will be preflighted by combined handicap index.

What’s Included: The entry fee includes greens fees, cart fees and range fees for the practice round and all championship rounds. The entry fee will also include a championship tee gift, and lunch after the first and second round.

Hotel Information: There is no host hotel for the 2022 Women’s Texas Pinehurst.

Registration Information: There will be no player registration for the 2022 Women’s Texas Pinehurst. Players will pick up their tee gifts in scoring after the first round.

Practice Round Information: Each player is allowed one (1) complimentary practice round at Indian Creek Golf Club (Lakes Course) on Sunday, November 6 starting at 12:00 PM. Player can schedule their official practice round beginning Sunday, October 30 by calling the golf shop at (972) 466-9850 ext. 1. Players must identify themselves as a 2022 Women’s Texas Pinehurst player.

Pairings Information: Pairings for Round 1 will be made available online at www.txga.org no later than Friday, November 4 by 5:00 PM. Final round pairings will be made available online following the first round.

Prizes/Awards: Merchandise gift certificates redeemable at the host club golf shop will be awarded to the Overall Champions and First through Third in each flight.

Caddies: Caddies are not permitted during the championship.

Transportation: Players are encouraged to ride carts during all championship rounds. Cart fees for all championship rounds are included in the entry fee. Carts are limited to two (2) riders at one time and two (2) carts per group.

Electronic Measuring Devices: Electronic devices that measure distance only are allowed for this championship.

TGA Medical Cart Request Policy
Spectator carts are prohibited. However, spectators in accordance with ADA compliance may request golf carts. Requests for golf carts must be supported by complete documentation, including the fully completed Cart Request Form and the required accompanying medical documentation specified in that form for all first-time requests. Any medical cart request that is granted by the TGA will be good for that individual for the remainder of that calendar season. A request will not be deemed complete until all required information and documentation has been provided.
