Entry & Eligibility Information
Entries Open: September 19, 2022 at 9:00am
Entries Close: October 26, 2022 at 5:00pm
Withdraw Date: October 26, 2022 at 5:00pm
Entry Fee: $480 per team

Eligibility: Entries are open to female amateur golfers with a certified WHS Handicap Index. Please reference TGA Women’s Policies and Procedures for further details.

Entry Procedure: Entries accepted in order of entry except if the event is oversubscribed in the first 24 hours. In this case, the field will be filled by blind draw from the entries returned during the first 24 hours. Any player not drawn will be placed on the waiting list in blind draw order. All subsequent entries will be placed on the waiting list in order of entry.

Championship Information
Field Size: The field is limited to 50 teams

Format: The championship will be 36-holes of chapman stroke play (also known as Pinehurst format). Two players play as partners, each playing from the teeing ground and each playing her partner’s ball for the second shot. After the second shot, partners select the ball with which they wish to score and play the ball alternately to complete the hole. The field will be preflighted by combined handicap index.

What’s Included: The entry fee includes greens fees, cart fees and range fees for the practice round and all championship rounds. The entry fee will also include a championship tee gift, and lunch after the first and second round.

Hotel Information: There is no host hotel for the Women’s Texas Pinehurst. TGA Members can take advantage of Affinity Travel Benefits by utilizing their hotel search engine by clicking here.

Registration Information: Player registration will be held on Sunday, November 6th between 12:00 – 3:30pm. If a player cannot make registration, she must notify a TGA official that she is unable to make the registration deadline but will be competing in the championship.

Practice Round Information: Each player is allowed one (1) complimentary practice round at Indian Creek Golf Course on Sunday, November 6th. Players must contact the host club golf shop and identify themselves as 2022 Women’s Texas Pinehurst players to schedule a practice round.

Pairings Information: Pairings for Round 1 will be made available online at www.txga.org no later than Friday, November 4th by 5:00pm. Final round pairings will be made available online following Round 1.

Prizes/Awards: Merchandise gift certificates redeemable at the host club golf shop will be awarded to the Overall Champions and First through Third in each flight.

Policies & Procedures
To ensure that competitors have the best possible experience when competing in the championship, it is helpful to be knowledgeable of Texas Golf Association (TGA) Policies and Procedures, Terms of Competition and Local Rules (Hard Card), as established by the association.   • Caddies: Caddies are not permitted during the championship.
  • Transportation: Players are encouraged to ride carts during all championship rounds. Cart fees for all championship rounds are included in the entry fee. Carts are limited to two (2) riders at one time and two (2) carts per group.
  • Electronic Measuring Devices: Electronic devices that measure distance only are allowed for this championship.
  • USGA Groove Condition of Competition: The USGA Groove Rules effective January 1st, 2010, are NOT in effect for this competition.

TGA Medical Cart Request Policy
Spectator carts are prohibited. However, spectators in accordance with ADA compliance may request golf carts. Requests for golf carts must be supported by complete documentation, including the fully completed Cart Request Form and the required accompanying medical documentation specified in that form for all first-time requests. Any medical cart request that is granted by the TGA will be good for that individual for the remainder of that calendar season. A request will not be deemed complete until all required information and documentation has been provided.
