Entry & Eligibility Information

Entries Open: Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at 9:00 AM
Entries Close: Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at 5:00 PM

Entry Fee: $340

Eligibility: Players must have a current membership with a member of the Texas Junior Golf Alliance. Players can renew or sign up with the Northern Texas PGA or the Southern Texas PGA membership to be eligible.

Entry Procedure: Players will be added to the field according to the Exemption Based Entry procedures immediately following the close of registration. For more information on the exemption based entry procedures, please check the LJT Eligibility & Entry Procedures.

Championship Information

Format/Field Size: Play will be contested over 54 holes of Stroke Play. The field is limited to 84 players.

Divisions: Boys 12-18

Practice Round Information: The official practice round date is Sunday, March 12 (12:00 PM – 3:00 PM). Players may begin contacting the host club on Sunday, March 5.

AJGA PBE Available: AJGA Performance Stars for approved divisions can be found on AJGA PBE Allocations.

LJT Exemptions Available: Available tournament exemptions can be found at LJT Exemptions.

Starting Times/Pairings Information: Starting times/pairings for the first & second round will be made no later than Friday, March 10. Pairings will be listed online on the tournament homepage. Final round starting times/pairings will be available in the evening following the completion of the second round. Final round starting times/pairings will be re-drawn based on total score following the previous rounds of play.

Caddies: Caddies are permitted for the championship. Players are responsible for providing their own caddie for the event and the caddie cannot be the player’s parent or legal guardian.

Cancellation/Withdrawal Procedure: Players may withdraw themselves from the field and receive a refund up until 10 days before the first round. If you need to withdraw, please contact the Tournament Director and they will instruct you on how to complete the WD. For full refund details, please reference the LJT Competition Policies.

Transportation: Players will be required to walk during the competition, unless acting under the direction of an LJT Rules Official. Non-motorized push/pull carts will be permitted during the championship. Spectator carts will be permitted for the championship and must be rented from the club.

Rules of Golf

The Championship will be contested under the 2023 Rules of Golf as approved by the United States Golf Association and R&A, its interpretations and clarifications, 2023 Legends Junior Tour Local Rules and Terms of Competition and any local rules give to the player on their first tee.
