Entry & Eligibility Information
Entries Open: July 12, 2023 at 9:00 AM
Entries Close: August 23, 2023 at 5:00 PM
Withdraw Date: August 23, 2023 at 5:00 PM
Entry Fee: $160 per team
Eligibility: Entries are open to female amateur golfers with a certified WHS Handicap Index. Please reference TGA Women’s Competition Policies for further details including Policies and Procedures, and Terms of Competition.
Entry Procedure: Entries are accepted in order of entry. In the case the event is oversubscribed, all subsequent entries will be placed on the waiting list in order of entry.
Format/Field Size: Two-Person 6/6/6 contested over 18 holes. The field is limited to 24 teams.
What’s Included: The entry fee includes greens, cart, and range fees for the round. Players will also receive a tee gift, two (2) drink tickets, and hors d’oeuvre following the round.
Practice Round Information: Each player is allowed one (1) practice round at the discounted rate of $42.00 plus applicable taxes (September 3-9) at Cedar Crest Golf Course. Players must contact the host club directly and identify themselves as Women’s Saturday Series participants to receive the discounted rate.
Registration Information: There is no official registration for TGA Women’s Saturday Series events. Players are asked to arrive at the first tee at least 10 minutes prior to their starting time.
Starting Times/Pairings Information: Starting Times/Pairings for the Women’s Saturday Series will be made available online at www.txga.org no later than Wednesday, September 6 by 5:00 PM.
Prizes/Awards: Gift certificates redeemable at the host club golf shop will be awarded to the overall gross and overall net champions. The overall gross champions will also receive an exemption into the 2023 Women’s Texas Pinehurst.
Caddies: Caddies are not permitted during the championship.
Cancellation/Withdrawal Procedure: Prior to the entry deadline players looking to withdraw should do so online through their Golf Genius user profile or by contacting the TGA Staff Contact directly. After the entry deadline has passed players should either call the Texas Golf Association at (214) 468-8942 or email the TGA Staff Contact directly. Only withdrawals on the day of the competition should be directed to the host club golf shop.
Transportation: Players are encouraged to ride carts during all championship rounds. Cart fees for all championship rounds are included in the entry fee. Carts are limited to two (2) riders at one time and two (2) carts per group. Players must share. Riding on the back of golf carts is prohibited.
Medical Cart: Spectators in accordance with ADA compliance may request golf carts. Requests for golf carts must be supported by complete documentation, including the fully-completed Cart Request Form and the required accompanying medical documentation specified in that form for all first-time requests. Any medical cart request that is granted by the TGA will be good for that individual for the remainder of that calendar season.
