Entry & Eligibility Information 
Entries Open: September 13, 2023 at 9:00 AM

Entry Fee: $480 per team

Eligibility: Entries are open to female amateur golfers with a certified WHS Handicap Index. Please reference TGA Women’s Competition Policies for further details. 

Entry Procedure: Entries accepted in order of entry except if the event is oversubscribed in the first 24 hours. In this case, the field will be filled by blind draw from the entries returned during the first 24 hours. Any player not drawn will be placed on the waiting list in blind draw order. All subsequent entries will be placed on the waiting list in order of entry. 

Championship Information

Format/Field Size: Play will be contested over 36 holes of Chapman Stroke Play (also known as Pinehurst format). Two players play as partners, each playing from the teeing ground and each playing her partner’s ball for the second shot. After the second shot, partners select the ball with which they wish to score and play the ball alternately to complete the hole. The field will be preflighted by combined handicap index. The field is limited to 50 teams.

Practice Round Information: Each player is allowed one (1) complimentary practice round at Sterling Country Club on Sunday, November 5 beginning at 12:00 PM. Beginning October 23, players must contact the host club golf shop at (281)-304-1400 and identify themselves as Women’s Texas Pinehurst players to schedule a practice round.

Registration Information: Player registration will be held on Sunday, November 5 between 12:00 PM and 3:30 PM. If a player cannot make registration, she must notify a TGA official that she is unable to make the registration deadline but will be competing in the championship.
