TGA Fall Series

About the TGA Fall Series

Introduction
The TGA Fall Series is being introduced in 2020 to provide more playing opportunities across Texas, mostly for college-aged kids who have seen their fall college golf schedules canceled due to ongoing COVID-19 concerns.

There will be four events across Texas – two in the DFW area, one in the Houston area and one in the Hill Country area. The events will run from mid-October through mid-November. All events will take place during the week.

Eligibility
The TGA Fall Series is open to male and female golfers. All male golfers who maintain an active World Handicap System (WHS) handicap of 6.4 or less through a TGA member club and all female golfers who maintain a 12.4 or less are eligible to compete in the TGA Fall Series events. There are no regional restrictions; members can play in any of the TGA Fall Series events. Players needing a WHS Handicap who are not members of a TGA member club can join the Medalist Golf Club (managed by the TGA online) by clicking here.

Format
The format for the new TGA Fall Series will be 54 holes of individual stroke play. The fields will be comprised of 88 golfers in two divisions – 60 males and 28 females. Each division will be comprised of at least 2/3 players that are 24 and under. The remaining 1/3 of golfers will be comprised of players that are 25 and older.

Entries
Online entries will be accepted and available on the TGA Competitions Calendar of the TGA website beginning September 15. The TGA accepts credit card payment from VISA, Master Card or American Express.
