Entry & Eligibility Information

Entries Open: February 16th, 2021 @ 9:00 a.m.
Entries Close: March 31st, 2021 @ 5:00 p.m.
Withdraw Deadline: March 31st, 2021 @ 5:00 p.m.

Entry Fee: $480 per team

Eligibility: Entries are open to female amateur golfers with a certified WHS Handicap Index. Please reference TGA Women’s Policies and Procedures for further details.

Entry Procedure: Entries accepted in order of entry except if the event is oversubscribed in the first 24 hours. In this case, the field will be filled by blind draw from the entries returned during the first 24 hours. Any team not drawn will be placed on the waiting list in blind draw order. All subsequent entries will be placed on the waiting list in order of entry.

Championship Information

Field Size: The field is limited to 60 teams.

Format: Play will be contested over 36 holes using a quota system. Teams will be pre-flighted based on the two players’ combined WHS Handicap Indexes (Revision Date – April 8, 2021). Quotas will be determined based on players’ course handicap. Points earned by each partner will be combined for the team total. Each player’s quota will be adjusted 50% on the final day. (Example of Adjustment – The 1st day, a 14 handicap must get 33 points. She makes 40 points. This makes her +7. The 2nd day, after a 50% adjustment, this player must make 36.5 points. This is her original 33 points plus half her +7 points.)

Points: Over a Double Bogey = 0 points; Double Bogey = 1 point; Bogey = 2 points; Par = 3 points; Birdie = 5 points; Eagle = 8 points; Double Eagle = 10 points; Hole in One = 12 points.

What’s Included: The entry fee includes greens, cart and range fees for the practice round and all championship rounds. The entry fee will also include lunch after Round 1 and an awards lunch after the Final Round.

Hotel: There is no host hotel for the Women’s Partnership. TGA Members can take advantage of Affinity Travel Benefits by utilizing their hotel search engine by clicking here.

Practice Round Information: Each player is allowed one (1) complimentary practice round at Riverhill Country Club on Sunday, April 11th. Players may contact the host club golf shop starting March 19th and identify themselves as 2021 Women’s Partnership Players to schedule a practice round. Players may also schedule their one allotted practice round for Saturday April 10 after 1 PM, or any date before the official practice round on April 11 and pay a cart fee of $25.

Registration Information: There will be no player registration for the 2021 Women’s Partnership. Players may pick up their tee gift in scoring after the first round.

Starting Times/Pairings Information: Round 1 pairings will be available following registration online at www.txga.org by Friday, April 9th at 5:00 PM. Final Round pairings will be available online following play of Round 1.

Prizes/Awards: Trophies will be awarded within each Flight and an Overall Champions will be crowned.

Policies & Procedures

To ensure that competitors have the best possible experience when competing in the championship, it is helpful to be knowledgeable of Texas Golf Association (TGA) Policies and Procedures, Terms of Competition and Local Rules (Hard Card), as established by the association. Caddies: Caddies are not permitted during the championship.

TGA Cart Policy: Players are encouraged to ride throughout the championship. Carts are limited to two (2) riders at a time and a maximum of two (2) carts per group. Players MUST share if applicable. Riding on the back of golf carts is prohibited.

TGA Medical Cart Request Policy

Spectators carts are prohibited. However, spectators in accordance of ADA compliance may request golf carts. Requests for golf carts must be supported by complete documentation, including the fully-completed Cart Request Form and the required accompanying medical documentation specified in that form for all first-time requests. Any medical cart request that is granted by the TGA will be good for that individual for the remainder of that calendar season. A request will not be deemed complete until all required information and documentation has been provided.
