Lakewood CC to Host Veritex Bank Byron Nelson Junior Championship
The TGA is excited to announce Riverbend Country Club will be hosting the 2020 Texas Super Senior Amateur on April 21-23. New in 2019, the Texas Super Senior will again be recognizing the low net handicapped overall tournament score in both the Super Senior and Legends Division.Registration for the 54-hole stroke play event will open on Tuesday, February 25 at 9:00 a.m. and close on Tuesday, April 14 at 5:00 p.m.Riverbend CC was originally designed in 1957 by Press Maxwell Jr and renovated in 2010 by Jeff Blume.
During the rennovation, Blume added bunkers throughout the golf course and redesigned several green complexes. The 18-hole golf course now features Bermuda Mini-Verde greens and 419 Tiff Bermuda fairways. The championship golf course can play at a maximum yardage of 6,908 yards.
