About the WTGA
Organized women's golf in Texas began in 1916 with the founding of the WTGA. Since then, the caretakers of women's golf have endeavored to connect women to the game and each other.
The WTGA Scholarship Program was created to provide financial assistance to support and encourage young women golfers who are seeking higher education.
The WTGA conducts premier championships throughout the Lonestar State. Supported by the generosity of member clubs as host sites, we offer the opportunity for all players of all handicaps across the state to compete.
WTGA is creating new avenues for Texas youth to learn some of life’s most important lessons through their exposure to the game of golf. WTGA offers junior initiative programs, as well as college scholarships.
