Golf Course: The Hideout’s championship golf course was designed by Bill Johnston and opened for play in 2008. The track tips out at nearly 7,000 yards and features bermudagrass fairways with bent grass greens. Located in the heart of the Texas Hill Country along the shores of Lake Brownwood, Johnston created a true 18-hole masterpiece by making the most of the natural topography. The course’s high points offer magnificent, never-ending views of the lush fairways, meandering creeks, and enormous oaks.

Weather: Monday’s opening round of the Women’s Partnership Match Play welcomed the players with overcast skies and gusty winds out of the south, reaching up to 30mph.
