35^th Women’s Senior Stroke Play

Entries Open: August 21, 2024 at 9:00 AM
Entries Close / Withdraw Deadline: October 2, 2024 at 5:00 PM
Division Change Deadline: October 7, 2024 at 5:00 PM

Entry Fee: $240 

Eligibility: Entries are open to female amateur golfers residing in the state of Texas age 50 years or older by the first round of tournament play, with have a certified WHS Handicap Index. Please reference TGA Women’s Competition Policies for further details, including policies and procedures, and terms of competition.

Entry Procedure: In the event the championship becomes over-subscribed, entries will be accepted in order of handicap index based upon the October 2, 2024 World Handicap System Revision. 

Championship Information 
Format/Field Size: The championship is a 54-hole stroke play competition. The 16 players with the lowest handicap indexes at the Women’s Senior Stroke Play will be required to play from the Championship Tees (approx. 5500-5700 yards). All other players may select which tees they wish to play from – the Championship Tees or the Flights Tees (approx. 5100-5300 yards). Upon completion of Round 2, the field will be broken into flights based on 36-hole scores. The field is limited to 96 players.

Practice Round Information: Each player is allowed one (1) complimentary practice round on Sunday, October 13. Players must identify themselves as a 2024 Women’s Senior Stroke Play player to schedule a practice round.

Registration Information: There is no official player registration for the Women's Senior Stroke Play Championship. Players will pick up their tee gift in scoring on Monday, October 14.

Starting Times/Pairings Information: Starting times / pairings for the first and second round will be made available no later than Thursday, October 10 by 5:00 PM online at www.txga.org. Final round starting time/pairings will be available in the evening preceding play (approximately one hour after the completion of play).
