Rob Addington, the Executive Director of the Texas Golf Association, was elected President of the International Association of Golf Administrators in early November during the 48th IAGA Annual Meetings held in Bermuda.

The North Team secured its first victory since 2011 at the 10th annual Jackie Burke Cup at Champions Golf Club. Captain Jack Lempke's squad secured the their third overall victory with a final score of 27-21.

The LJT has released its schedule for 2015. While the majority of events have remained the same, there are a few changes, most notably the addition of the James A. Ragan Memorial to be held February 15-16 at Palmilla Beach GC in Corpus Christi.
There are two ways an individual can become a TGA member: 1) Apply in person at one of 500+ Member Clubs near one's home or work, or 2) Join online at txga.org by selecting a "home" club from a list of participating Member Clubs located across the state.
The USGA's "Play 9" campaign seeks to rally golfers to play nine-hole rounds as a way to fit the game into their busy lifestyles. In addition to promoting nine-hole rounds, "Play 9" encourages other activities like driving range practice and putting.
