Rob Addington, the Executive Director of the Texas Golf Association, was elected President of the International Association of Golf Administrators in early November during the 48th IAGA Annual Meetings held in Bermuda.

The North Team secured its first victory since 2011 at the 10th annual Jackie Burke Cup at Champions Golf Club. Captain Jack Lempke's squad secured the their third overall victory with a final score of 27-21.

The USGA's "Play 9" campaign seeks to rally golfers to play nine-hole rounds as a way to fit the game into their busy lifestyles. In addition to promoting nine-hole rounds, "Play 9" encourages other activities like driving range practice and putting.
