Ed Brooks Wins Texas Senior Amateur by Two Shots

DALLAS – With a steady round of 1-under-par 70 in Sunday’s final round, Ed Brooks from Fort Worth won the 2017 Texas Senior Amateur Championship. For three days, Brooks kept his ball in the fairway and routinely found the Royal Oaks Country Club greens in regulation. That relentless precision led to a 54-hole total of 4-under 209, which was good for a two-shot victory over defending champion Lewis Stephenson from Mansfield. Click here to read the full story.

 

2017 Women's Senior Stroke Play Championship

The 2017 Women's Senior Stroke Play Championship will be held on October 2 - 4 at Berry Creek Country Club in Georgetown. The format is a three-day individual stroke play championship. Registration opens Wednesday, August 9th at 9:00 AM and registration closes on Wednesday, September 13th at 5:00 PM.

Traditions Club to Host Inaugural Fall Challenge at Traditions
The inaugural Fall Challenge at Traditions will be held at Traditions Club October 14-15, 2017. Tournament registration will open July 31stand will close October 4th. The Priority Entry Deadline is September 8th. The tournament field will be 84 contestants broken down in three divisions: Boys 15-18, Boys 14 & Under, Girls 12-18.
