Entry & Eligibility Information

Entries Open: January 11, 2021 @ 9:00 a.m.
Entries Close: February 24, 2021 @ 5:00 p.m.
Exempt Deadline: February 24, 2021 @ 5:00 p.m.

Entry Fee: $240 per player

Eligibility: Entries are open to female amateur golfers with a certified WHS Handicap Index. Please reference TGA Policies and Procedures for further details, including Policies and Procedures, and Terms of Competition.

Entry Procedure: Entries are accepted in order of entry except if the event is oversubscribed in the first 24 hours. In this case, the field will be filled by blind draw from the entries returned during the first 24 hours. Any player not drawn will be placed on the waiting list in blind draw order. All subsequent entries will be placed on the waiting list in order of entry.

Championship Information

Field Size: The field is limited to 112 players.

Format: 2-day individual Eclectic. Each player takes her better hole score over the two days. Flights predetermined by March 4, 2021 WHS handicap index.

What’s Included: The entry fee includes greens, cart and range fees for the practice round and all championship rounds. The entry fee will also include lunch after Round 1 and an awards lunch after the Final Round.

Practice Round Information: Each player is allowed one (1) complimentary practice round at Moody Gardens Golf Course on Sunday, March 7. Players must contact the host club golf shop and identify themselves as 2021 Women’s Eclectic Players to schedule a practice round.

Registration Information: There will be no player registration for the 2021 Women’s Eclectic. Players may pick up their tee gift in scoring after the first round.

Pairings Information: Round 1 pairings will be available following registration online at www.txga.org by Friday, March 5 at 5:00 PM. Final round pairings will be available online following play of Round 1.

Prizes/Awards: Merchandise Gift Certificates redeemable at the host club golf shop will be awarded within each flight. Overall Gross and Overall Net Champions will be awarded.

Policies & Procedures

To ensure that competitors have the best possible experience when competing in the championship, it is helpful to be knowledgeable of Texas Golf Association (TGA) Policies and Procedures, Terms of Competition and Local Rules (Hard Card), as established by the association. Caddies: Caddies are not permitted during the championship.

TGA Cart Policy: Players are encouraged to ride throughout the championship. Carts are limited to two(2) riders at a time and a maximum of two(2) carts per group. Players MUST share carts if applicable. Riding on the back of golf carts is prohibited.

TGA Medical Cart Request Policy

Spectators carts are prohibited. However, spectators in accordance of ADA compliance may request golf carts. Requests for golf carts must be supported by complete documentation, including the fully-completed Cart Request Form and the required accompanying medical documentation specified in that form for all first-time requests. Any medical cart request that is granted by the TGA will be good for that individual for the remainder of that calendar season. A request will not be deemed complete until all required information and documentation has been provided.
